Capoeira Ancestre Project

The Capoeira Ancestre Project is aimed at children, young people and adults of both sexes. It seeks to develop socialization, concentration, attention, trust and respect for the other, involving the family and society in general, trying to show that the practice of capoeira is a healthy sport and propagating the culture of peace and non-violence.

The objective is to carry out free and self-sustainable social and pedagogical work for people and communities in situations of social vulnerability, where capoeira classes will be taught and all the traditional folk activities that permeate, such as maculêlê, pulled hammock among others. The work with capoeira through the “Capoeira Ancestre” project has as goal to minimize cultural segregation that often cannot be met by the State.
