A Children's Day, Transformer!

On the children's last day we had the opportunity to contribute to two wonderful projects. One of them is Lar Hermínia Scheleder, in Colombo, which currently serves 34 children and teenagers aged between 01 and 18 who have been victims of violence, giving them a new path through personal development, spiritual growth and professional training. We bring them candy, also books, donated clothes, and food. We did it with a collective effort, from our team and from some members of solidary companies of our society, who promptly answered our call in the collections, making this a successful campaign for everyone.

The other project, Amigos do Caximba, was created by Edilene, a very special person, who seeing the difficulties of her community, located in the Caximba region, such a precarious area of ​​the city of Curitiba, sheltered a space in her own house that receives every day more than 200 children between 2 and 16 years old, maybe this is a project you've heard about in the media, we discovered this beautiful project a few hours before the donations were delivered, we were so friendly that in a sudden effort we were able to help by bringing candy to the children. Arriving there, we got to know a little of their reality, we saw up close the suffering and difficulties of people, in this community that was abandoned by the system, and despite being happy to see children receiving sweets and toys on the day that celebrates their joy and innocence, they also stayed a regret for such a need for basic resources, resources that are defended in the constitution for all. In both moments, however, we felt hope growing in our hearts, seeing so many people, just like us, engaged and striving to transform these lives, even if it's one child at a time.
